We are a mobile dog grooming service dedicated to the health, wellbeing, and safety of your furry friend. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

Our Services

We provide professional mobile grooming services for dogs, focusing on hygiene, comfort, and overall wellbeing.
Please note:

• We do not offer breed-specific or show-standard cuts.

• Our grooming style is designed to prioritise your pet’s comfort, coat health, and safety.

• All services are carried out in our fully equipped, self-contained mobile grooming van at your location, however we will need to connect to a power point.

Appointments and Cancellations

• Appointments must be booked in advance via either phone, email or our online booking system.

• We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation fee of 10%

• If we arrive at your location and are unable to groom your dog due to aggression, illness, or unsafe conditions, the full fee may still apply.

Health and Safety

Your dog’s safety is our top priority.
By booking with us, you confirm that:

• Your dog is fit, healthy, and up to date on vaccinations (including flea/tick treatments).

• You will inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, behavioural issues, or injuries before the appointment.

• We reserve the right to refuse or stop a groom if your dog becomes distressed, aggressive, or if continuing may cause harm.

• Any muzzling or restraint will be done humanely and only when absolutely necessary for safety.

Matted Coats and Grooming Adjustments

• Severely matted coats may require shorter clips to avoid pain or injury.

• We will always prioritise your dog’s comfort and welfare over cosmetic appearance.

• Issy & Bear is not responsible for any minor irritation or unevenness that may occur as a result of dematting or coat condition.

Liability

• While all care is taken during the grooming process, you acknowledge that grooming can carry certain risks, especially for older dogs or those with health conditions.

• Issy and Bear will not be liable for any pre-existing conditions, allergic reactions, or injuries that occur due to factors outside our control.

• In the rare event of an accident or medical emergency, we will seek veterinary care at the nearest available clinic. You agree to cover any resulting veterinary costs.

Payments

Payment is due on completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed.

We accept Cash/Card or Direct Deposit.

Prices may vary depending on the dog’s size, coat condition, and temperament.

Photos and Marketing

We may take photos of your dog before and after grooming to showcase our work on our website or social media.
If you do not consent to this, please let us know prior to your appointment.

Privacy Policy

Your personal information (such as name, address, and contact details) will be kept confidential and used solely for appointment and service purposes. We do not share your details with third parties without your consent.

Changes to These Terms

Issy & Bear reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon publication.
